A set of Basalt and Origami candles in porcelain vessels, along with care accessories.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAbout the designs:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eIn August 2021, on a trip exploring old porcelain factories, we found, among the rubble of a closed-down factory, damaged moulds: a cup and a bowl.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eWanting to save them from being forgotten, we recreated their shape. We designed new lids for them, inspired by the Japanese art of origami and the extraordinary character of basalt rock. This is how the cup shape became the Origami candle, and the old bouillon bowl became the Basalt candle.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eBasalt and Origami are a marriage of old and new.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eA piece of the history of Polish ceramics and contemporary design thinking.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eSaved from being forgotten, recreated in our design studio.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vessels were designed and made in our design studio and ceramics workshop in Milanówek. Parian porcelain is exceptionally noble, resembling white marble in appearance. It feels satiny to the touch and lets light through, so a lit candle beautifully illuminates the room.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe candles are made from eco-friendly, certified, vegan soy wax, a beech wood wick, and essential or fragrance oils, whose safety is confirmed by IFRA certification.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the wax has burned down, the decorative vessel can serve as a jewellery box, a container for spices or cosmetics, and play a decorative role. It was designed to be useful and pleasing to the eye long after the candle has burned out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA candle collection inspired by classic forms and nature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• 300 g of natural soy wax\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• approx. 60 hours of burn time\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• wooden wick\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• essential or fragrance oils\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Parian porcelain\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• designed and handmade in Poland\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eReady to ship.
